SYSTEM 3E: modern Portuguese homes, built smarter

Damp and mould are an ongoing problem in Algarve homes. SYSTEM 3E walls are built from interlocking perlite elements, a natural volcanic mineral, stacked without mortar, glue or polystyrene insulation.

The wall is vapour-permeable, so moisture passes through instead of being trapped, and mould has nowhere to take hold. It stays cool in summer and warm in winter.
