What we collect and why
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, your preferred contact (email address or telephone number), the project location, the type of work, the intended start and the description you write. We use this only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit and prepare a quotation.
If you contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp, we use the details you give us for the same purpose.
Legal basis
Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Once a contract exists, the data needed to carry it out and to meet our legal obligations, such as invoicing (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Do you have to give us your data?
Giving us your data is not mandatory. But without these details (a name, a way to contact you and a short description of the project) we cannot reply to your enquiry.
Who receives your data
- Website hosting: Vercel Inc., with servers in the European Union (Paris region, cdg1).
- Delivery of the enquiry form: the ArqWeb form service, which sends the message by email (ZeptoMail/Zoho, EU data centres) to our mailbox.
- If you press play on the SYSTEM 3E video, YouTube (Google) loads the video from youtube-nocookie.com. Nothing from YouTube loads before you press play.
We do not sell or share your data for marketing.
Transfers outside the EU
Vercel Inc. is based in the United States and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission considers to provide adequate protection.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as needed to reply to you and organise the work and, after that, for the retention periods required by law for invoicing and accounting.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to talktous@shadowbrook.pt. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
